What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Continuous ECG monitoring of patients cardiac rhythm
- Responding to monitoring alarms and identifying abnormalities
- Documenting patient activities and producing cardiac rhythm reports
- Providing virtual observation of at-risk patients
- Maintaining patient safety at all times
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- One year of related experience preferred
- Cardiac Monitoring course or certification preferred
- AHA BLS-HCP certification required within 60 days of hire
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Cardiac rhythm analysis technician (CRAT) certification preferred
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software preferred
