What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee all technical aspects of virtual production projects, ensuring seamless integration between virtual and physical environments
- Lead production efforts and project management, coordinating tasks across various departments
- Manage real-time rendering and operate virtual cameras, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise
- Supervise the virtual production process to achieve the creative vision of projects
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members in the technical production field
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of six years of related experience in virtual production, film technology, or similar technical production roles
- Expertise in live-action cinematography and familiarity with cinema cameras and film technology
- Proficiency in software such as Maya/Blender and knowledge of visual effects pipelines
- Strong understanding of tracking systems and video engineering
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine, including Blueprints and LED Technology
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills
- Experience with robotic cameras and cranes
- Familiarity with management development programs and budget oversight
