What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete mental health and chemical dependency assessments for patients in emergency departments and inpatient units
- Monitor patient progress toward recovery goals and maintain required documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Consult and coordinate with multiple facilities and health services organizations (HSOs) regarding patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Provide safety planning for patients and identify appropriate support services for post-discharge
- Train and orient new employees while auditing clinical assessments of junior staff and peers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 2-5 years of experience in mental health or related services
- Valid RN, LCSW, or LPC licensure (no provisional licensure accepted)
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- No supervisory experience required

- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
