- Develop a cohesive Events and Promotions strategy in conjunction with the property and all other Marketing functional leads.
- Oversee Special Events and Promotions teams to ensure accurate and high standards of execution.
- Develop annual Special Events and Promotions budget for properties within Las Vegas.
- Contribute to the development of property Events and Promotions calendar builds.
- Coordinate with internal Host/Player Development and other sales teams to integrate specific strategies and recommendations into property calendars.
- Coordinate with the entertainment teams to develop strategy and execution for property entertainment.
- Oversee the management of all key strategic relationships (e.g., F&B, entertainer, sports teams) and provide marketing insight on key strategic property partnerships and sponsorships.
- Serve as active advisor in selection and approval of all external strategic relationships and alliances.
- Ensure and disseminate widespread communication to properties on Specials Events and Promotions.
- Act as the senior advisor to property GMs, Regional Presidents and SMT on Special Events & Promotions related opportunities and concerns.
- Optimize Events and Promotions through cooperation with support organizations (e.g., Analytics, Property & DM).
- Partner with teams across corporate to drive innovation in Events and Promotions strategy and tools and liaison on pilots/tests of new capabilities.
- Develop career paths, build bench strength, and retain top marketing talent.
- Attend all Events & Promotions occurring in market and interact with key customers in attendance.
- Ensure seamless execution and resolve major issues when they emerge.
- Serve as conduit between property and local community including tourism boards, competitor casinos, entertainment venues, etc.
- Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
- Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.
- Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior.
- Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s in marketing, events & promotions, business, operations management, or related field
- 3+ years of senior level marketing/event experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent guest and employee relations
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with a capacity to work independently and make appropriate decisions without supervision
- Ability to handle many projects at one time and to react well under pressure
- Ability to lead and motivate staff
- Ability to set consistent examples to staff in excellent guest service and organizational skills, professionalism and attention to detail

Responsible for the strategic direction, operations and financials of all Promotions and Events activities across the Las Vegas region. Ensures the highest level of standards and execution across all programmed Promotions and Events.
