      Job Description

      As the Vice President Performance Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance for our clients by leveraging enterprise data and innovative analytics. You will be responsible for developing bold, data-driven strategies that maximize the impact of marketing efforts and enhance product performance across all channels, solutions, and campaigns. Your expertise in data science and your deep understanding of the financial services industry will enable you to assess, test, and deploy new data assets, creating a continuous feedback loop that drives performance improvement. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a passion for data and a proven track record of delivering results.

      KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive data science strategy to drive performance optimization across multiple campaign types, channels, and product lines. Align this strategy with the overall business goals of our clients in the financial services industry. 20%
      • Data-Driven Insights: Lead the team in creating bold, data-driven insights and models that inform strategic decision-making and optimize marketing spend. Utilize advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to identify growth opportunities and enhance product performance. 20%
      • Data Asset Innovation: Oversee the assessment, testing, and deployment of new data assets and analytical tools. Establish and manage a continuous feedback loop that leverages these assets to improve performance metrics and client outcomes. 15%
      • Operational Efficiency: Guide the data science team in developing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within client organizations. Promote best practices in data management, analytics, and reporting to drive productivity and performance. 10%
      • Marketing Analytics: Lead the development of data-driven performance and models tailored by product and market. Ensure that the team provides actionable insights that optimize campaign timing, targeting, and overall marketing effectiveness. 10%
      • Team Development and Mentorship: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on complex projects and encourage professional growth within the team. 5%
      • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and strategy, to integrate data science initiatives into broader business processes and objectives. Drive alignment and ensure the effective use of data across the organization. 5%
      • Advanced Analytics Implementation: Lead the team in implementing advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling and machine learning, to support various business functions and enhance client performance. 5%
      • Performance Reporting and Communication: Direct the preparation of performance reports and data visualizations that communicate key insights and recommendations to senior leadership and clients. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and actionable intelligence in all communications. 5%
      • Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics. Encourage the team to explore and integrate new methodologies and tools that can provide a competitive edge and improve client outcomes. 5%

      Qualifications

      EDUCATION

      • Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a relate field

      EXPERIENCE

      • 15+ years of experience in data science, analytics, and performance management.
      • A strong background in the financial services or regulated space is strongly preferred.
      • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale data-driven initiatives and performance optimization projects.
      • Expertise in using advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to derive actionable insights and drive business outcomes.

      KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

      • A proven track record of driving results in the financial services industry or a regulated environment.
      • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams and driving organizational change.
      • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
      • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, customer acquisition, retention, and growth in the financial services sector.

      Additional Information

      Base Salary: $240,000 - $260,000

      Position is eligible for an annual bonus incentive program.

      The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
