      Overview/Purpose:

      This person will be a pivotal leader in shaping the direction, development, and strategy of Mars Veterinary Health Practice Management System, Voyager Health. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise , and leadership skills to drive the successful delivery and ongoing improvement of our application portfolio. This role involves strategic planning and the oversight of the development and execution of product strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs. Additionally, the ideal candidate possesses a proven track record for leveraging these skills in healthcare and/or global consumer product teams.

      Key Responsibilities:

      - Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies that align with the company’s vision and market needs. Ensure product roadmaps reflect customer demands and technological advancements.

      - Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support.

      - Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation, development, launch, to retirement. Ensure products meet market needs and stay competitive.

      - Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation.

      - Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the product team and stakeholders, including clients and partners, as well as internal stakeholders such as senior management and Mars associates across Mars Veterinary Health Business Units.

      - Resource Management: Oversee and manage the product development initiatives. Ensure optimal allocation of resources and tools.

      - Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product team and monitor the success of products against these metrics. Use data to make informed product decisions.

      - Risk Management: Identify potential risks in product development and create strategies to mitigate them.

      - Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet high-quality standards and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

      - Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product management team.

      - Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture within the team.

      - Product Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the entire lifecycle of products from concept through launch and beyond. Make decisions on product development priorities and timelines.

      - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption.

      - Customer Focus: Keep a pulse on associate and client feedback and market and technology trends to continuously improve product offerings

      - Team size of about 10 direct/indirect reports

      Qualifications:

      - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business , Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

      - Minimum of [ 10-12 ] years of experience in product management, with at least [ 5-7 ] years in a leadership role, preferably in software or technology sector s within large, g lobal c ompanies.

      - Proven leadership experience and team management skills.

      - Expert understanding of product management techniques and methodologies.

      - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

      - Excellent communication, leadership , and interpersonal skills and interpersonal skills.

      - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

      - Demonstrated a bility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

      - Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically.

      - Experience with agile/scrum development processes.

      - Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.

      Salary: $208,900 - $2 8 7, 2 37
