R ecommend product mix and placement strategies that maximize performance and profitability for Walmart.
Supervise your Walmart buyer’s listing strategies and quality of execution across all Mobile Power category modular (planogram) configurations.
Proactively analyze and provide recommendations on vendor-controlled factors to optimize Shopper Navigation Tree and Purchase Occasions.
Co-develop a robust dot com merchandising strategy that creatively improves shopper experience and conversion for the category.
Strategize with your Walmart buyer to augment Modular Walk-Throughs with data-led insights that help align stakeholders’ investment.
Develop presentations and present to the merchant and key stakeholders, including category 1 0 1s , business reviews, and consumer/shopper POVs.
Own the annual relay process, including drawing and submitting all MODs (Modulars).
Ensure flawless execution of category initiatives, including product launches, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
Monitor in-store execution and work with Walmart's team to address any issues or opportunities.
Regularly leverage Belkin and Walmart data and research to recommend ways to optimize segmented store traits (store groups).
Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to provide insights, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that drive profitable category growth.
Analyze pricing trends and competitive pricing data to develop pricing recommendations that optimize sales and profitability for the category.
Evaluate space to sales performance, competitive insights, and industry and retail best practices, highlighting gaps and growth opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart's merchandising and category management teams.
5+ years of experience in Walmart category management or Walmart Merchandising
Advanced proficiency in Retail Link, Luminate, and ProSpace; experience with Circana or other market data sources is also preferred.
Strong analytical skills .
Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies that drive growth.
Strong relationship-building skills .
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
Knowledge of the mobile power or consumer electronics industry is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Must be based in the Toronto , Ontario, Canada area
Willingness to travel as required .
