Pay Rate: £28,909.21 per annum or £13.81 per hour

Shift patterns: Four On , Four Off-Days Only-06:00 until 17:30

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.

assist with the unloading of vehicles and the checking-in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.

be responsible for picking specified items from storage or warehouses and prepare them for shipment.

pick and pack products which includes unboxing, labelling, re-boxing and stacking products on pallets.

Weight Limit is up to 25KG in terms of heavy lifting

Will be working in different temperature settings onsite -Ambient, Chilled and Frozen (PPE will be provided depending where you are working)

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures (Desirable )
• Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or equivalent will be well-received.
