Here at GXO, we’re working together with Waitrose and looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Reading. You’ll be working 40 hours per week, on a fixed shift of either AM (06:00-14:00), PM (14:00-22:00) or nights (22:00-06:00).

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll receive:

• An hourly rate of £11.54 for the AM shift, plus 25% shift premium on PM and 33% shift premium on nights

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Our Warehouse Operatives work in a chilled environment and support in the picking of customer orders
• You’ll operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
• You will utilise the warehouse management system and ‘pick by voice’ equipment
• Ensure that all health and safety practices are followed in line with company policies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility in your approach – we do have peak seasons!
