Job Description

- Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements across the site
- Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
- Take proactive approach to ensure housekeeping is managed and maintained to goods manufacturing practice
- Facilitate effective communication - verbally and written
- Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced ,all staff to be briefed with all updates and changes .
- Work in collaboration with Line Manager to ensure all training needs are completed In line with DHL standard
- Effective communication with team and customers (written and verbally)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience of team management
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
- Excellent communicator (verbal & written
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Knowledge of Co-pack production - desirable
- Production experience - desirable
- Good problem solving skills
- Leadership and management experence -Essential

Salary £42,000
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Shift patterns: Rotational 6am - 14:00 then 14:00 - 22:00
Location: Stanford Le Hope - SS17 9FFDHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including the storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.
