The branch ensures that Gaming activities in the province are operated with integrity and social responsibility, aligning with Gaming Regulations and Board Policy and deliver on commitments to stakeholders in the province of Alberta.

      Gaming activities included Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (EGTs), Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs), Lottery and Online Gambling.

      JOB SUMMARY

The Gaming Branch is looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team at Calder Warehouse in Supply Chain as a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver.

      Reporting to the Supervisor, Shipping and Receiving, and Transportation, this position is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and warehousing of all AGLC material for all supported networks. Duties include providing support to other departments when operationally feasible for shipping, receiving, labeling and distribution to both internal and external of all parts and materials utilized by AGLC. This position must ensure that all goods are received accurately as per Purchase orders and all shipments are packaged properly to minimized damage during transit. They will also assist with inventory and racking cycle counts and provide operational support to Lottery Distribution when required.

      To be successful in this role you will need significant attention to detail skills, the ability to multitask and experience using an inventory management system to support the daily operational requirements of Calder Warehouse. You will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues such as tracking lost shipments, inventory decisions, requesting shipping supplies and ordering AGLC forms. Teamwork skills are also essential to work with multiple groups in Supply Chain. You must be able to complete tasks that are very physical in nature that involve working on hard floors for extended periods of time and lifting heavy objects of up to 50 pounds.

      NOTE: Due to the nature of the role, safety shoes are a requirement.

      SKILLS & ABILITIES

      • High school diploma and at least two (2) years of related experience in inventory management working in a warehouse environment is required; inventory management experience in a gaming environment would be preferred.
      • Ability to work and stand on hard floors for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. is required.
      • Additional inventory and/or logistics training would be an asset.
      • Ability to use material handling and packaging equipment is an asset.
      • Necessary licenses and/or certificates include: WHMIS Certificate, TDG Certificate, Fall Protection, Aerial Lift Platform and 3-1 Forklift Training.
