This position is responsible for conducting internal OEM warranty audit reviews, participating in external OEM audits, and communicating the results and findings to Team Leads, Dealer Aftersales Management, and Senior Management.       Responsibilities

      Group 1 Automotive, Inc., is seeking a Warranty Audit Policy Administrator to:

      • Conducting, managing, and overseeing external and internal warranty audits.
      • Review audit findings and maintain Audit Tracker
      • Develop and enhance auditing techniques, based on thorough research of OEM warranty policies and procedures and studies of OEM audits, to identify and address dealer warranty activity out of compliance.
      • Recommending and implementing changes to address procedures and practices that are not compliant with OEM policies.
      • Analyzing potential risks within the company and its practices to avoid possible compliance issues.
      • Summarizing reports on the results of external and internal warranty audits and presenting these reports to the relevant Team Leads, Aftersales Management, and Senior Management.
      • Continuing educational and professional training to improve your job knowledge.
      • ADHOC Management Discretion
      • Minimum travel expectation of 15%, i.e. includes local and outside the greater Houston area.

      Qualifications

      • A minimum of 2 years in warranty or insurance claim administration management, or OEM automotive service management
      • An in-depth understanding of OEM automotive warranty policies and procedures
      • Proficient computer skills, MS Word, Excel, Power-point, Infographics
      • Experience with CDK and OEM software/websites a plus
      • Project Management
      • Prior experience with Internal Audit

      Education Required

      • High school diploma required
      • Associate Degree or equivalent industry preferred
      • Professional Certifications in related field preferred
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred
