The Job

WB Games is a leader in the games industry across all game platforms and mobile devices. WB Games is seeking an intern with an interest in IT project management, who will assist our engineering teams with successfully delivering solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, organized, and can be agile in fast paced environments. The WB Games intern will work alongside our project management team, and gain exposure to projects executed in both the Scrum and waterfall methodologies.

Experience in Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Airtable, and Microsoft Office are a plus! If you are interested in getting hands on with sprint planning, work management, and stakeholder communications in a supportive, collaborative environment, this internship is right for you!

The Daily

• Work closely with the project managers for the Infrastructure, Network and Applications teams in all phases of the project lifecycle – planning, execution and closure.

• Assist as needed with capturing or updating project plans, sprint planning and monitoring, stakeholder communications, requirements gathering, and reporting.

• Administrative duties such as documentation and calendar management in support of project activities.
  

The Essentials

• Currently enrolled as a student working towards a Bachelors degree (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship).

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior

• Preferred 3.0 GPA

• General understanding of basic IT and Project Management concepts, emphasis on Scrum

• Willingness to share ideas and collaborate with the team

• A desire to work in the gaming industry!

And finally, what to know before applying:

• Our Summer 2024 internship program is 11 weeks long, commencing June 3rd - August 16th.

• Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.

• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.

• The application deadline is on or before November 17. After this date, we cannot guarantee your application will be reviewed for the position.

We are interviewing through Fall 2023 on a rolling basis. A Warner Bros. Discovery Intern team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skillset, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $35,360 - $51,376.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
