      Are you a webMethods expert looking for a challenge?

      Shared Services Connected Limited (SSCL) are currently in the market for an experienced engineer well versed with the webMethods platform to be a critical part of a team delivering on a large scale project for our clients within the defence sector. You will be a pivotal part of a collaborative team working alongside the top minds across API development and integration. Ultimately you will be responsible for the technical aspects for the installation, deployment, administration and optimisation of the webMethods API Gateway. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who is confident in their ability to be the go-to technical lead for all things webMethods becoming the Domain Expert within the team for this area.

      This role would be predominantly home-based role, that being said given the nature and scale of what we are delivering there will be occasional travel between offices in London, Hemel Hempstead and Gosport. Please take into consideration the location and potential travel when applying for the role.

      What you'll be doing:

      • Design and implement API solutions using webMethods API Gateway
      • Oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of the webMEthods API Gateway
      • Manage the administration of the API Gateway, including monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades
      • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of API services
      • Stay updated with latest trends and developments in API management and webMethods technology

      What you’ll bring:

      • Technical Lead Engineer experience using Software AG webMethods API Gateway
      • Knowledge of API Management
      • OpenAPI/SwaggerAPI definition formats
      • RESTful and SOAP web services
      • Configuration Management, Monitoring and Alerting Configuration API Security

      It would be great if you had:

      • Networks experience
      • Identity and Access Management understanding

      Salary: Up to £72,000
