Welder/Fabricator Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Set up components for welding per work instructions.

· Perform 8-18" single pass, non-stop 3G welds.

· Cut/fit beams and channels.

· Read blueprints

· Assist in basic housekeeping· Perform grinding as required

· Ensure all welds are in line with customer specs

· Recognize and report hazards/ Apply safe work methods

· Operate a forklift as needed

Welder/Fabricator Qualifications

Qualified candidates will be proficient in MIG and Flux Core welding methods.

· 2 years of related experience is preferred or

· 1 year of structural steel experience

· Able to pass welding test

· Ability to stand for long hours· Available to work regular scheduled hours and additional as needed

· Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations

Pay Rate - $18/HR to $22/HR

Location - Conroe, TX

Work Schedule – 2nd Shift 2:30 pm to 11pm
