MIRATECH is looking for welders to join our team!

MIRATECH is an industry leader that provides cost-effective, reliable, and mission critical emission and acoustical solutions for stationary natural gas and diesel reciprocating engines.

Primary Responsibility of Welder: Performing MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication and building functions in the manufacture of various products in accordance with product specifications.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding based on product needs
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform necessary tasks
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPE’s provided
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to produce high quality products in a timely manner
• Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, forklifts, and cranes
• CWB welding certification a plus. Must be able to obtain CWB certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices
