      We are looking for a Welding Engineer with experience in the construction of tanks, who will be working on a remote basis for 10 months for an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company:

      Job Description:

      • Oversee and manage the welding activities during the construction of industrial tanks for the EPC company's projects
      • Ensure compliance with relevant welding codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., AWS, ASME)
      • Develop welding procedures and qualify welders as per the project requirements
      • Inspect and monitor the welding work performed by the construction crew to ensure quality and safety
      • Provide technical support and guidance to the welding team on-site
      • Collaborate with the project management team to resolve any welding-related issues or challenges
      • Maintain detailed records of welding activities, inspection reports, and quality control data

      Requirements:

      • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
      • International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification
      • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction of industrial tanks, pressure vessels, or similar structures
      • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, welding codes, and specifications
      • Strong understanding of welding processes, techniques, and quality control measures
      • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
      • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, site-based environment
      • Willingness to travel to remote project locations for extended periods

      Duration: 10 months on remote status
