      Do you enjoy working with people? Are you detail oriented? Would you enjoy working in a fast pace environment, organizing and scheduling daily wellness and recreational activities for an elderly population?

      SUMMARY
      Develop, implement and deliver daily wellness activities that take place at the Wellness Center. Wellness Coordinator will also act as liaison between medical center staff and patients, community guests and professional visitors that may provide services for Wellness Program.
      • Perform daily wellness program activities.
      • Provide patients with information regarding benefits and activities of Wellness Center.
      • Arrange for transportation for patients attending the Wellness Center as needed.
      • Assist in other Company events as needed.
      • Ensure necessary inventory of items needed at the Wellness Center is kept.

      • Ability to effectively relate with medical staff, peers, managers, patients and other associates.
      • Able to respect and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
      • Must be able to follow policies and procedures and work flexible schedule and location.

      JOB REQUIREMENTS
      • Bilingual English/Spanish-fluent levels in both
      • Experience in a patient facing role involving structured and planned activities
      • Experience in Community health outreach programs
      • Knowledge of standardized processes within Medical center operations
      • Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team
      • Valid driver license and dependable transportation necessary
      • Computer skills -including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
      • Ability to communicate effectively/professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization
      • Speak to groups to; initiate and/or perform activity, lecture.
      • Conduct screenings as scheduled by manager.

      ROLE DESIRABLES
      • Previous work with vulnerable adults or the geriatric population
      • Nutrition knowledge
      • 2 to 3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer and/or performing wellness and recreational activities
      • Health Plan experience, including Medicare/Medicaid
      • Electronic Medical Record (ECW) knowledge/experience

      Certificates/Licenses
      • CPR (BLS) Certification
      • First Aid Training Certification
      • Silver Sneakers Certification
