Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting Credit Officers on a daily basis in the underwriting, monitoring, and management of their portfolios. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end processes involving credit underwriting, ongoing monitoring, and portfolio management of financing, treasury management, and traded products transactions. Job expectations include acting as a primary liaison with the credit teams, operations, and other business partners.
The GWIM Wholesale Credit Admin Associate (WCA) provides credit administrative support to the GWIM Commercial and Consumer Special Assets Groups (SAG/GCSAG). The WCA provides various levels of support to the SAG Officer and other Bank partners to resolve client and data integrity issues, monitor customer exposure in compliance with Bank policies and procedures, monitor data impacting exposure and profitability, resolve various exceptions to comply with Bank audit requirements, and manage collateral and related compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinates pre- and post-closing activities which may include due diligence activities, creation of approval documents, and interaction with operations
• Monitors requirements by creating and clearing monitoring ticklers and sourcing required financial statements and other documents per the terms of the credit agreement or other documentation
• Identifies and resolves data quality issues
• Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency
• Understands policy and procedures and ensures compliance• Manage internal tracking logs with periodic reviews to ensure accuracy
• Assist SAG Officer with management of loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure activities
• Engage Credit Services to facilitate necessary payments/payoffs, updates, and loan bookings to LoanIQ
• Order required collateral valuations
• Manage past due notices in accordance with Bank procedures
• Manage property tax reviews
• Deceased client processing
• Transfers into/out of SAG/GCSAG
• Maintain accurate document retention via EDR uploads
• SCRA management activities
• Default validation assistance
• Monitoring client questions, issues, and complaints
• Management of regulatory reporting
• Identifies and resolves data quality issues
• Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency
• Understands policy and procedures and ensures compliance
Required Qualifications:
• 12 months+ experience with working knowledge of the Bank’s credit policies, procedures and guidelines
• Proficiency with MS Office Applications with emphasis on Excel and Word
• Well organized and able to work independently with minimal management oversight
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Prioritize numerous time sensitive and business critical activities
