What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, write, and edit policy briefs, reports, and publications related to wildlife conservation
- Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to promote wildlife policies
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs
- Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries related to wildlife policy issues
- Monitor and analyze legislative developments related to wildlife conservation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, environmental policy, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or policy advocacy
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of policy processes and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience within the environmental or wildlife conservation sectors
- Creative and innovative thinker with experience in developing communication strategies
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
