What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and grow business through a defined plan and consistent communication with assigned retail sellers
- Coach and train top retail sellers on products, programs, services, and technologies at the farm-gate
- Execute strategic plans in partnership with retail sellers, measuring and monitoring progress
- Communicate the total acre value proposition, including brand strategies, pricing, and digital technology
- Coordinate with local manufacturer representatives and implement account plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business-related field plus 3 years of industry or direct sales experience; or 7 years of successful work experience in industry or direct sales
- Proactive communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and formal presentation skills
- Ability to coach and mentor others and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Solid experience using Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (Salesforce)
- Must have a current and valid state driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 50%
