      Job Description Summary

      The Clinical Manager is a field-based, commercial/non-sales role, serving as a catalyst for collaboration between BD, Regional and National Key Opinion Leaders, as well as developing strategic partnerships with key societies and organizations. The priority areas of focus include cervical cancer: clinical implications of an HPV test with extended genotyping and ASCCP Risk-based guidelines as well as HPV Primary Screening.

      The Clinical Manager will assist in building BD’s leadership position through strong differentiation of our value proposition and by connecting stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, including where appropriate, to the Medical Science team.

      The Clinical Manager is a field-based, commercial/non-sales role includes:

      • Identify, engage and foster relationships with Regional KOLs of top OBG practices identified by Marketing and in conjunction with local field intelligence on regional peer influence map. Existing Marketing tools, including maps, target lists, etc. will serve as a starting point. Further selection criteria based on CV may be warranted.

      • Identify, engage and foster relationships with key regional chapters of societies and organizations that advocate for using an HPV test with extended genotyping and ASCCP risk-based guidelines for treatment as well as HPV primary screening.

      • Share approved, on-label materials to differentiate importance of new ASCCP/ACOG guidelines and extended genotyping as well as HPV Primary Screening to enhance quality of care and outcomes for physicians and their patients.

      • Build Regional Speaker bureau to be loaded into Speaker Bureau Hub. This includes appropriate HCP Interaction Hub administrative tasks to ensure speakers are fairly and legally reviewed prior to initiating any speaking or other services on behalf of BD.

      • Beyond speaking engagements, see opportunities and assist Marketing with execution of omni channel events (blogs, webinars, publications, videos) that use regional and national KOLs

      • Train Regional Speakers on approved Promotional Speaker deck in conjunction with the Marketing team, connecting with Medical team where appropriate for scientific exchange.

      • Launch Regional Speaker programs, with 2-3 events per target area/lab to be held by end of Q4 ’22 in accordance with Hub compliance guidelines.

      • Attend National/Regional conferences for additional KOL engagement and to gather competitive intelligence.

      • Provide customer insights with Sales and Marketing via standing meetings, to occur bi-monthly.

      • Ability to Navigate the Decision-Making Unit (DMU) within the OBGYN market; Identify unmet Standards of Care; Total consideration to all IDS business opportunities; Distinguish transactional vs. value-based mentalities; Present shared priorities; Strong problem solver with limited direction provided.

      Execution:

      • Decipher analytics providing valuable outcomes; Gain commitment for sustainable projects being accountable/responsible for total customer engagement;

      • Responsible for ongoing customer satisfaction.

      • Understand ethical behavior and business practices, ensuring that own behavior is consistent with these standards and aligns with the our values.

      Communicator:

      • C-Suite negotiation with customer commitment to behavioral change; Ability to set clear expectations being the facilitation expert.

      • Collaborate amongst multiple teams with a high standard of Emotional Intelligence.

      • Ability to read, comprehend, and compose detailed instructions, business correspondence and memos; and effectively present information in a one-on-one or group situation using effective communication tools and techniques.

      • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Teams


      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

      • Education and experience in Women’s Health with BS or BA required.

      • MT ASCP, BSN, NP, or MSN preferred.

      • LEAN Certification or obtain within 6 months of hire; Strong financial and analytical skill and applications to selling tools; Effective communication, and presentation skills.

      • Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience and demonstrated consistent success in process improvement, best practices, and change management within the Medical Device/IVD industries; Sales and/or marketing experience in Medical Device/IVD industries.

      • Duties require ability to integrate projects within BDX Sales Organizations and Marketing Departments.

      • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time within the region
