      Job summary

      We are recruiting for a Workflow Administrator to join the team at The Marsh Practices on a full time basis.

      We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.

      Main duties of the job

      The practice is a paper-light environment, and the main responsibilities of the post holder will be to process the incoming patient clinical correspondence both by paper and electronic transfer; working in accordance with the practices protocols.

      To process new patient registration and filing GP to GP transfers

      Workflow of practice correspondence (both paper and electronic), and attaching to patient records.

      Recording diagnoses, procedures and investigations.

      Identifying urgency and carrying out actions or forwarding to appropriate teams.

      Identifying complex or higher risk areas that require input or knowledge from the clinical team.

      Answering queries from other members of staff.

      To contribute to the development of services, including processes, templates and principles.

      To ensure that Health and Safety guidelines are observed at all times and alert management to any concerns raised by staff or members of the public.
