Job Description

We are seeking a Yard Jockey to secure and organize our container storage yard. This role involves utilizing a yard switcher and pickup truck, directing drivers picking up and dropping off equipment, and performing gate security transactions. Additional duties include lifting and relocating improperly parked equipment, conducting security checks, and performing inventory counts.

Work Environment

This position has 1 opening for the 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. Overtime is available on weekdays and weekends. You will be working outdoors in a shipping container storage yard and must be comfortable working in various weather conditions. The role requires the use of a yard jockey, pickup truck, and forklift. Steel toe boots are mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
