      Position Overview:

      Youth Development Coaches will be the primary person through whom youth receive individual and group work related to Healthy Relationships; this includes fatherhood services if warranted. Youth Development Coaches will have a maximum caseload of 12 youth and will meet with each youth for a minimum of 1 1/2 hours per week. Youth Development Coaches will be available to work within various locations which provide support and individualized counseling to justice involved youth in ACS Detention, Non-Secure Detention. Limited Secure Placement and youth who have transitioned back into the community. Youth Development Coaches will be responsible for supporting, advocating for, and assisting youth to help them make progress toward academic, career, housing, stability, and wellness goals. Coaches will use a trauma-informed and strength-based approach with youth to build trusting relationships.

      Position Qualifications:

      LMSW, LMHC preferred but will accept Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social work, Forensic Psychology or Criminal Justice from an accredited college with minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adolescents individually or in a group setting. Experience in the field of education/workforce; substance use, mental health, public health and/or criminal justice with clientele similar to that served by the program is preferable. Must have an understanding of adolescent development. Must have good time management skills. Must be able to clear a background check in order to be on site at the designated facilities. Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently.

      Salary: $65,000 (Flat Rate)
