The First Church of Christ, Scientist is a Christian church located on the corner of Segoe and Tokay, on the west side of Madison. Applicants should be able to provide their own transportation for this job. There are two bus stops (#2323 and #2810) right by the church as both the D and J lines connect.

We are looking to find coverage for this job each week on the following days/times:

• Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am
• Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

In addition, we have a service once per year on Thanksgiving Day, for which we can pay a higher rate:

• Thursday morning (Thanksgiving only) from 9:30am to 11:30am

We are primarily looking for a candidate who can be available consistently at these times throughout the year. It is essentially a 4 hour committment each week. We have some substitutes available to cover shifts if you will be away on vacation now and again, but we really want someone who expects to be there most of the time.

We are a small Madison-based church that hosts two services each week (Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings), allowing attendees to join either in-person or over Zoom. We need someone to operate the Zoom meeting controls, video camera controls, and audio mixer controls. We have a small workstation area set up in the back of the church with a computer and iPad that, together, control everything. This job involves muting and un-muting various microphones using the iPad, moving the camera using software-based controls on the computer, sharing images on Zoom, and generally operating the Zoom meeting.

The job takes two hours of time per service, and we pay $35/hour. We have two services per week: Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. We also host a service annually on Thanksgiving morning for which we can pay a higher rate. We have some substitues available but are primarily looking for someone who can be available consistently each week.

We don't have any formal set of requirements, other than to say that you must be somewhat tech savvy and willing to learn. We have put together a 20-page manual on how to run all of the software controls, but we expect a certain level of technical competence.
