What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and support complex database upgrade projects, installation, testing, and maintenance of system software products
- Plan, install, configure, and manage core database products in alignment with the organization's architecture and business needs
- Perform database administration consulting for application and operations teams
- Monitor database performance, health, and capacity, implementing backup and recovery procedures as needed
- Develop logical and physical database designs and conduct technical reviews of existing systems

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Systems Programmer/DBA, with at least three (3) years in a lead role
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or engineering field
- Proficiency in IBM technologies including Z/OS, IMS, DB2, ADABAS, and related tools
- Experience with database performance monitoring and management
- Strong understanding of database design and administration principles

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3 years of experience within the last 5 years with IBM System Automation 4.3 and CONNX replication tool
- Extensive experience with IBM System Automation 4.3
